Rebuilding the Lumber Ecosystem
Renera is helping to build a new lumber reclamation process in the Western US, reducing the landfill burden while helping mitigate the drawdown of regional timber stocks. The end result will be a reliable, economical source of recycled lumber for builders, designers and craftsmen whom share our commitment to sustainability.
A New Source of Building Material
In 2022, Renera will start receiving, grading and remanufacturing wood from demolished structures and other urban waste in California — originally destined for landfills — producing finished building products such as molding, siding, flooring, ceiling tile, structural members and complete lumber packages for builders.
Why It Matters
By establishing a viable recycled lumber business in the Western US - one entirely based on wood formerly destined for landfills - Renera will create a blueprint for wood recycling and for greener building legislation in municipalities across the US.
